The 2020 Horror Game Making Friendship League is divided into three stages: preparation, production, and voting.
Stage 1 — Preparation: participants jointly decide the event name, vote for the theme, and set up infrastructure (posters, committee, etc.). The event committee oversees the voting process and may be joined at any time; members cannot also be contestants.
Stage 2 — Production: use the script editor (results of the development-tool vote) to build the game. Any assets are allowed as long as they don't break the law. Games should be positive and original. Each person may submit at most one work. There is no separate registration — submission counts as participation.
Stage 3 — Voting: every account (or IP) has three votes. Pick three games, fill in your nickname / QQ / group join time / vote reason / game screenshot / personal comment / signature. Voting on behalf of others or switching accounts on the same IP is invalid and forfeits prizes.
Submissions are not immediately visible in the list — the event committee needs time to review them. Late submissions are ranked but may not receive prizes. Submissions must be virus-free and complete.
Welcome, contestants.
To ensure the event is fair, just and transparent, please read and follow the rules below before participating:
- Integrity: Participate fairly and honestly. No cheating, vote-rigging, plagiarism or other misconduct. Discovered violations lead to immediate disqualification.
- Original Work: All entries must be the contestant's original work and must not infringe any third-party rights. The contestant bears responsibility for originality.
- Legal Compliance: Entries must comply with applicable laws. No unhealthy, false, threatening or insulting content.
- Submission: Complete and submit your work on time. The submission must be virus-free and fully functional. The event committee will review and publish it for download.
- Voting: Three votes per account (or IP). Provide an honest reason, a game screenshot and a personal comment. Vote-rigging or IP/account switching invalidates the vote and forfeits prizes.
- Committee: Committee members maintain order, assist review, and judge vote validity. Committee members cannot also be contestants.
- Prizes: Prizes are distributed per the voting result. Contestants who violate rules or submit late lose the prize, which passes to the next eligible contestant.
Thanks for participating — good luck and show your creativity!
